About Jessi

My name is Jessi, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a private practice in the city of Seattle, Washington.  I see clients via telehealth and am licensed to see anyone who lives anywhere in the state of Washington.

I believe everyone has a unique story to tell. The story of us is not a solitary chapter, but it is deeply informed by the people around us. From our very first moments of life,  to the crises or struggle that draws us to seek help, we are impacted by the people, or lack of people in our lives. Our earliest relationships deeply inform how we move through the world.

If you are struggling with relationships in your life, even the one with yourself, I will provide the space and time to explore your story and how it is impacting these relationships.   Together we can discover your story and work toward writing a different ending that breaks the old patterns and begins something new.

I offer a warm and nurturing space to enable you to feel welcome, seen, and heard for all that you are and all that you bring.  There will be no judgment or criticism as we sit together and begin to look at the parts of life that are holding you back, causing you pain, or generating grief and struggle.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in relational, psycho-dynamic, object relations and interpersonal therapy. To put it into less therapeutic jargon, our work will center around not only the struggles in your life, but on the meaning and origin of these struggles.  I provide a safe place for you to begin to trust and feel secure,  so together we can work toward healing and change.

I obtained my Master’s of Counseling Psychology from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology.  I worked in various capacities in the field of counseling and I have had a private practice since 2010.
